The new Life Sciences building at York University Keele Campus is a Federal/Provincial Knowledge Infrastructure Program funded Project. The facility features lecture halls on the main level, teaching labs on the second floor and research lab space on the third and fourth floors. It currently houses up to 50 researchers and 1500 students from the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
Kelson mechanical highlights:
Kelson was responsible for the entire mechanical package including fire protection, sheet metal and controls. The building features a basement mechanical room with services from York universities central utilities plant. Other technical services include the installation of a reverse osmosis and distilled water distribution system, compressed air and central vacuum.
