Description:

Retrofit of existing Maple Leaf Gardens building consisting of four floors of commercial space and one floor of parking. The Ryerson University portion includes the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors, which includes one new ice hockey rink, one new varsity gymnasium complete with weight training, aerobics, change rooms, as well as varsity offices, and mechanical rooms.

 

Kelson Mechanical Highlights:

The Sports and Recreation Centre project to include: a complete heating and cooling system served by chillers/cooling towers and boilers/storage tank systems, as well as air handling units (AHUs), serving the gymnasium, ice rink seating, alumni lounge, and athletic therapy/cardio areas.
