Vaughan Mills Mall was the single largest new construction project in Ontario in 2003. The vast size of Vaughan Mills Mall is an entire city block, consisting of over one million square feet. The project had very tight time lines working evenings, and weekends, to ensure opening date for the mall. This was the first time ever in Ontario that two helicopters were used at the same time to lift air handling units to the roof of buildings.
