Nortel's new World Headquarter Office Building project converted an existing manufacturing facility into a new state-of-the art office environment for executives of Nortel. This massive renovation project included mini-cities, and meeting centres for Nortel employees.  Geo. A. Kelson Company Limited also performed a helicopter hoist for mechanical equipment spread out over the vast roofing structure.

Kelson started with the rebuilding of the existing central plant. Renovated existing north office building, and converted the one million sq. ft. existing manufacturing facility into a living city consisting of restaurants, a café and wellness centre.

The difficulty was the installation of large piping and duct systems that were exposed to public view, and had to be non-intrusive to the atmosphere and architecture of the city it served.
